Abstract

Entrepreneurship in Asia is entering a new era marked by innovation, disruption, and opportunity. This chapter explores how emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, blockchain, Internet of Things, and GreenTech are reshaping the startup ecosystem across the region. It examines sector-specific developments in AgriTech, MedTech, and EduTech and highlights evolving financing models including venture capital, crowdfunding, and decentralized finance. The chapter also focuses on inclusive growth, showcasing the rise of women-led ventures, youth-driven innovation, and sustainable business practices. By combining regional insights, case examples, and strategic analysis, the chapter offers a forward-looking perspective for entrepreneurs, investors, and policymakers navigating Asia’s dynamic entrepreneurial landscape.
