Abstract

Zusammenfassung Die Struktur der Daten- und Analytics-Organisation muss sich von den anderen IT-Funktionen eines Unternehmens unterscheiden. Die meisten Daten- und Analytics-Initiativen mit hohem Wertbeitrag weisen inhärente Unwägbarkeiten auf. Daher unterscheidet sich die Implementierung eines Daten- und Analytics-Projekts grundlegend von der eines ERP- oder CRM-Projekts, was wiederum ein spezifisches Organisationsmodell erfordert. Bevor die Daten- und Analytics-Organisation sowie deren Prozesse definiert werden, ist es wichtig, das passende Organisationsmodell (dezentral, zentral oder föderiert) auszuwählen, das für ein Unternehmen geeignet ist. Jedes dieser Modelle hat seine Vor- und Nachteile, die sorgfältig abgewogen werden müssen, bevor die am besten geeignete Variante gewählt wird. Nach der Auswahl des optimalen Modells besteht der nächste Schritt darin, eine Daten- und Analytics-Organisation sowie Prozesse zu entwickeln, die agil und geschäftsfreundlich sind sowie einen hohen Wertbeitrag für das Unternehmen liefern.
