Abstract

This chapter focuses on the spatial linkages within the “Ji”-shaped bend metropolitan area of the Yellow River Basin, quantifying the intensity of spatial interactions at the inter-provincial and intra-provincial levels, and revealing the spatial differentiation characteristics of high-quality development. By establishing coordinated mechanisms for ecological protection, industrial upgrading, and population agglomeration, it proposes development pathways: optimizing spatial layout to form urban cluster effects, innovating economic models to promote green transformation, and coordinating human-land relationships to foster sustainable development.
