Abstract

1. Five Personality Traits Samuel Doria Medina’s high conscientiousness and openness suggest a structured yet adaptable mindset suitable for complex business settings. While extraversion and agreeableness are modest, SDM displays assertiveness and discipline, traits more associated with execution than social persuasion. 2. Emotionally Stable Under Pressure His low neuroticism indicates a calm and composed demeanour during crises, which is crucial in volatile emerging markets. 3. Leadership and Personality High openness to experience drives a consistent drive for learning, innovation, and embracing new experiences, which are essential for long-term strategic growth. Survey findings show a correlation between SDM traits and business achievements, suggesting that personality can predict leadership success. 4. Personality and Strategy SDM’s personality seems to shape his strategic choices and management style, rather than fitting pre-existing models.
