Abstract

The aim of the present chapter is to establish the correlation between the employee green behavior (EGB) and employee well-being in the UAE hospitality industry. Based on data obtained from the administrative staff and using SPSS and AMOS for analysis, the study postulates four dimensions of EGB—green learning, individual practices, influencing others, and organizational voice. The findings indicate that EGB contributes toward self-esteem, which in turn promotes the well-being of employees. This chapter contributes to the EGB literature by documenting a four-dimensional scaling system of measuring EGB behavior in the hotel sector of the GCCs, which is still less attended by researchers. Additionally, it provides policymakers an appropriate model of increasing EGB levels as part of green human resource management strategies where benefits accrue to the employees and the organization.
