Research on sustainable supply chain management (SSCM) case-based approach in Indian context is emerging. The problem of climate change is increasingly being accepted as a major problem by policy makers around the world. The main objective of this chapter is analysis of distribution network of the case company considered in three dimensions, i.e. sustainability, logistics, and CO2 emissions. We has proposed a sustainable transport and emissions assessment framework to evaluate the carbon footprints of companies, focusing on the transformation processes of distribution, warehousing, and logistics. Additionally, in present study, 15 factors are evaluated from the insights of decision-makers from three gypsum plant situated in India. The findings of the study explicated that Plant 1 possesses strong characteristics in terms of “Less Packaging with green material.” Additionally, Plant 2 possesses strong characteristics in terms of “Organizational Competence” with indeed “Availability of Water Supply” and Plant 3 possesses strong characteristics in terms of “Less Packaging with green material” with indeed “Indoor logistics design” capabilities.
