Abstract

Throughput resources supply the resources and energy required for various capital bases to fulfill their functions, and their use is directly linked to the environmental load. If various capital bases work, it is desirable that the input of throughput resources is small. However, what about the abundance of capital bases? In determining the quantity of capital bases that are needed, conventional economics may offer a solution in terms of contributions to profit and utility.
