Abstract

In this chapter, some brief discussions will be made on 7 renowned researchers who were trained in ISI and/or University of Calcutta and while serving ISI made outstanding contributions in the areas of Mathematics, Statistics and Probability. They left ISI and migrated to USA. But still, they were very much a part of ISI in the second half of the twentieth century. Their remarkable contributions in their respective fields of research added to the glory of ISI. The names of these 7 great personalities have been arranged chronologically.
