Abstract

We give an overview on some recent developments of Mahler measure in supersymmetric gauge theories. It can be shown that maximization of Mahler measure for isoradial dimers is equivalent to a-maximization. This can be further generalized to non-isoradial cases by virtue of Seiberg duality. Mahler measure also enjoys nice properties under specular duality and hence encodes certain information of the master space. This is mainly based on the work [1].
