Progress on BPS Spectra of 5d/6d $$\mathcal {N}=1$$ N = 1 Supersymmetric Field Theories

Abstract

We discuss recent progress on computing BPS spectra of higher dimensional supersymmetric gauge theories of eight supercharges. We generalize the blowup equation so that it allows one to compute the Nekrasov partition function on the Omega background for any 5d/6d supersymmetric quantum field theories which have either geometric or gauge theoretic description.
