Thus, in this study, a literature review is conducted to map the research landscape into a coherent classification. We operate a focused search for every article related to (1) Technology application in tourism in one significant database, namely, Web of Science. These databases contain a range of publications focusing on technology application in tourism. The final set of data generated from the classification scheme includes 1335 articles. The first section consists of evaluation and comparative articles on the technology application in tourism. The second section is composed of technology application in tourism articles.
