The popularity of a destination depends upon the offerings it makes to the tourists. The chapter is written by citing recent example supporting the arguments of authors. Following are the take away: first, the influence of traditions, arts, languages clubbed as a culture image-making of destination; second, the attributes of a destination and their significance for some destinations; third, the psychological factors of locals towards tourism and tourists; finally, the importance of locals’ attitude towards tourist and how it creates destination image. The chapter affirms that the residents’ good attitude toward tourism and tourists will show pro-tourism behavior. The combination of positive influences from art, customs, and languages, as well as the positive attitude of the Indian people, would improve India’s image as a tourist destination.
