Abstract

Statistical quality controlStatistical quality control means application of statistical techniques for checking the quality of products. The products include manufactured goods such as computers, mobile phones, automobiles, clothing and services such as health care, banking, public transportation. The word “quality” is defined in many ways. To some people, quality means fitness for use. To others, qualityQuality is inversely proportional to variability. Some people also think that quality means degree of conformance to specifications of products.
