A Strong Law of Large Numbers in Banach Spaces of Type Φ

Abstract

Let Φ and Ψ be Orlicz functions. Some basic properties of Banach spaces of type Φ and of cotype Ψ are established. The Kolmogorov inequality, the three series theorem and Chung’s version of the strong law of large numbers are proved in Banach spaces of type Φ.
