Abstract

Samenvatting Zorglogistiek en capaciteitsmanagement zorgen ervoor dat een grote variatie aan patiëntenstromen soepel langs diverse stations lopen en dat elk station zijn capaciteit afstemt op wat er nodig is voor deze patiënten. Een sociale netwerkanalyse in de praktijk van het Slingeland Ziekenhuis laat zien dat deze stromen vooral door verpleegkundigen, artsen en een beperkt aantal coördinatoren in onderlinge afstemming worden georganiseerd. Voor ziekenhuizen is een goede samenhang tussen integratie en differentiatie, tussen structuren en aanpassingsmechanismen, tussen lange- en korte termijnplanning, en tussen strategisch en operationeel management van essentieel belang.
