Abstract

Samenvatting Goed capaciteitsmanagement op de polikliniek wordt steeds belangrijker, want de polikliniek is van groot belang voor zowel de doorstroom binnen het ziekenhuis als de uitstroom. In dit hoofdstuk worden praktische afwegingen in beeld gebracht voor het implementeren van capaciteitsmanagement op de polikliniek. Dit hoofdstuk volgt de stappen doelstelling, basisanalyse, implementatie en monitoring uit H. 21 en 22. De focus van dit hoofdstuk ligt op wat deze stappen in de praktijk voor een polikliniek betekenen. Het zwaartepunt ligt op implementatie en monitoring en de betekenis hiervan voor de zorgeenheden, met als doel om een antwoord te vinden op de vraag: Wanneer doet een polikliniek het goed?
