Abstract

Riassunto In questo capitolo viene proposto un excursus sul fenomeno “gioco d’azzardo”. A partire da un suo inquadramento a livello sociologico e culturale, si focalizzerà l’attenzione sull’emergenza sociale che esso rappresenta oggi in Italia (Sezioni 5.1, 5.2 e 5.3, a cura di D. Capitanucci), per poi approfondirne le caratteristiche dal punto di vista della psicologia delle dipendenze (Sezione 5.4, a cura di S. Cabrini) e discutere le possibili strategie preventive che si possono mettere in campo per affrontarlo (Sezione 5.5, a cura di tutte le autrici del capitolo).
