Abstract

Zusammenfassung Eine der am häufigsten gestellten Fragen an einen Statistiker lautet: Wie groß sollte die Stichprobe sein? Manager sind bestrebt, eine Antwort auf diese grundlegende Frage in der Planungsphase der Umfrage zu erhalten, da sie direkt Auswirkungen auf betriebliche Überlegungen wie die Anzahl der benötigten Interviewer hat. Es gibt keine magische Lösung und kein perfektes Rezept zur Bestimmung der Stichprobengröße. Es handelt sich vielmehr um einen Kompromissprozess, in dem die Präzisionsanforderungen der Schätzungen gegen verschiedene betriebliche Einschränkungen wie verfügbares Budget, Ressourcen und Zeit abgewogen werden. In diesem Kapitel kehren wir zur Schätzung der Stichprobengröße für verschiedene Projekteigenschaften zurück. Tabellen und Beispiele für jede werden numerisch unterstützt.
