Abstract

The contributions in this book, written by former colleagues, Ph.D. students, collaborators, and friends, reflect Gilbert Probst’s academic career and research output over the past three decades. From his early research on self-organization, systemic approaches to management, and thinking in networks, Gilbert Probst has broadened his interests in knowledge management and learning organizations, change management, the structuring of organizations, and the management of corporate growth. Until today, his thirst for constantly pioneering and exploring new research areas resulted in the successful completion of more than 22 directly supervised Ph.D. theses.
