Abstract

Zusammenfassung Bereits David Ricardo (1772-1823) hat in seinem Th eorem der komparativen Kosten-Vorteile (auch Ricardo-Th eorem) die Vorteile (Wohlstandsgewinne) durch einen funktionierenden internationalen Handel und einer damit einhergehenden internationalen Spezialisierung beschrieben. Die weitere Liberalisierung des Handels sowie die immer besser und schneller werdenden Möglichkeiten des Warentransports haben die internationale Arbeitsteilung weiter verstärkt. Immer mehr in den Focus gerückt ist dabei die Verlagerung der Produktion in so genannte Niedriglohnländer.
