Abstract

Zusammenfassung Die zunehmende Globalisierung sowohl der Kunden als auch der Wettbewerber konfrontiert Unternehmen ständig mit neuen Herausforderungen. Angesichts dieser immer stärker international vernetzten Wettbewerbsstrukturen und dynamischen Wettbewerbsbedingungen wird für Unternehmen die Fähigkeit wichtiger, in differenzierter Form die stetig steigende Komplexität weitestgehend zu beherrschen und die entsprechenden umfangreichen Fragestellungen einfach und handhabbar aufzuspalten. Die Zerlegung der Komplexität bedarf struktureller Anpassungen der Unternehmen verbunden mit einem radikalen Umdenken und der Einführung einer neuen Unternehmenskultur und Mentalität. Die Entwicklung von unterschiedlichen Kompetenzen darf dabei nicht dem Zufall überlassen werden. Wissensmanagement wird zu einem Schlüsselfaktor für einen nachhaltigen unternehmerischen Erfolg und führt zur Entwicklung wettbewerbsentscheidender Kompetenzen.
