Abstract

Zusammenfassung Selbst in erfolgreichen Unternehmen arbeitet nur eine Minderheit der Führungskräfte wirklich zielgerichtet (vgl. Bruch/Ghoshal 2004a). Die Mehrheit legt verschiedene, weniger effiziente Verhaltensweisen an den Tag. Einige Manager sind eher passiv, innerlich gekündigt und begeben sich in die innere Emigration. Andere sind äußerst aktiv oder ʺbusyʺ, schaffen es allerdings nicht sich auf die wesentlichen Dinge zu konzentrieren; sie verbrauchen ihre Energie für eine Vielzahl oft unwichtiger Aktivitäten (vgl. Bruch/Ghoshal 2002).
