Abstract

Zusammenfassung Führungskräfte, die Emotionen in ihren Aktivitäten berücksichtigen, nehmen die Unternehmensrealität vollständiger wahr und können sie daher besser gestalten. Emotionen ergänzen das rationale Verhalten von Mitarbeitern, Führungskräften oder Teams, indem sie, z.B. durch Empfindungen wie Ärger oder Enthusiasmus, sich selbst und nach außen signalisieren, was wichtig ist und worauf sie sich fokussieren sollten. Emotionen regen zudem Einsatzbereitschaft und Engagement an und sind für Führungskräfte somit Zwischenziele, um die Leistung im Unternehmen zu fördern. Erkenntnisse zur Führung mit Emotionen können daher die Führungspraxis bereichern.
