Abstract

Zusammenfassung Ich habe dieses Buch geschrieben, um den erkennbaren Führungsschwächen bei Vorgesetzten in Unternehmen der Wirtschaft und Verwaltung zu begegnen und um den Verantwortlichen Hilfestellung zu leisten. Diese Führungsschwächen konnte ich im Berufsalltag, in der Personalentwicklung und in Beratungssituationen sehr oft wahrnehmen. Letztlich spiegelten diese Beobachtungen aber im Kleinen das wider, was seit Jahren in verschiedenen Studien nachzulesen ist. Selbstverständlich gibt es auch in der Wirtschaft und Verwaltung gute Beispiele von stringent organisierten Führungskräfteausbildungen mit einem dahinter stehenden theoretischen Führungsverständnis und einer gelebten guten Führungskultur. Nach meiner Ansicht trifft dies vor allem für Beispiele von größeren Unternehmen zu. Für die meisten kleineren und mittleren Unternehmen (KMU) dürfte es jedoch noch Zukunftsmusik sein. Dies ist für die vorliegende Thematik von besonderem Interesse, da 99 Prozent der deutschen Unternehmen zu den KMU gehören und derzeit 70 Prozent der Arbeitnehmer beschäftigen.
