Abstract

Zusammenfassung Die Mobilfunkbranche umfasst alle Unternehmen, die solche Leistungen herstellen und/ oder vermarkten, welche unter Einsatz von nachrichtentechnischen Systemen, die elektromagnetische Wellen zur draht-/kabellosen Signalübertragung (= Funk) nutzen, einen bidirektionalen Transport von Zeichen (Sprache/Ton, alphanumerische Symbole, Standoder Bewegtbilder) zwischen zwei oder mehr i.d.R. an räumlich voneinander entfernten Standorten befindlichen Telekommunikationsendeinrichtungen ermöglichen, von denen mindestens eine Endeinrichtung per Funk zu einem Telekommunikationsnetz dergestalt Zugang hat, dass sie nicht an einen festen Standort gebunden ist und während einer Bewegung (= mobil) genutzt werden kann. Der Mobilfunk (MF) ist Teil der Telekommunikationswirtschaft.
