Abstract

Zusammenfassung Die Logistikbranche boomt nicht nur hierzulande, sondern auch weltweit, und die Logistikdienstleister sind die Hauptprofiteure. Der in Deutschland sich auf über 170 Milliarden Euro belaufende Logistikmarkt erzielte zwischen den Jahren 2001 und 2004 ein durchschnittliches Wachstum von 2,1 Prozent und macht nunmehr 7,8 Prozent des Bruttoinlandproduktes aus. In diesem Zeitraum stieg der Outsourcinggrad von 44,6 auf 46,1 Prozent an, d. h. die Logistikdienstleister vereinen ein Umsatzvolumen von 78,4 Milliarden Euro auf sich.
