Abstract

Zusammenfassung Der Bankensektor und allen voran die Insolvenz des US-amerikanischen Investmenthauses Lehman Brothers stürzten die Weltwirtschaft 2009 in die schlimmste Krise der Nachkriegszeit. Die Folgen sind auch heute noch spürbar, doch mittlerweile mehren sich die Zeichen, dass die Talsohle durchschritten ist. Umso entscheidender ist es nun, dass sich die Unternehmen und ihre Mitarbeiter sicher für die Zukunft aufstellen. Innovationen sind dabei aus mikro- und makroökonomischer Sicht von existenzieller Bedeutung, da sie Stagnation und Rezession entgegenwirken. Ziel einer Innovation ist es, sich einen möglichst großen Wettbewerbsvorteil zu erarbeiten, z. B. durch die Erschließung eines neuen Absatzmarktes oder die Einführung einer neuen Produktionsmethode. Jedoch stellt sich die Frage, wie ein Unternehmen in die Lage versetzt werden kann, Innovationen hervorzubringen.
