Abstract

Zusammenfassung Wenn ein Frachter Ware über die Weltmeere transportiert, dann hat der Kapitän sein Schiff und alles, was damit zusammenhängt – von der Wartung über die richtige Beladung und Betankung bis zum geeigneten Personal – selbst in der Hand und kann dies steuern. Auf die äußeren Faktoren – wie Strömungen, Wetterbedingungen, andere Schiff e etc. – hat der Kapitän keinen Einfl uss; mit diesen muss er richtig umgehen. Dabei ist entscheidend, dass er sich nur mit den großen, wirklich relevanten Faktoren beschäftigt und ausschließlich diese berücksichtigt: große Strömungen, gravierende Wetterbedingungen etc. Er wird dabei immer sicherstellen, dass er nicht vom Kurs abkommt, sondern wird mit den Einfl üssen auf eine Art und Weise umgehen, dass er dennoch sein Ziel erreicht.
