E-Justice als Motor für E-Government

Abstract

Zusammenfassung Der Einsatz von IT-Technik in der Justiz hat – im Vergleich zur Verwaltung: verspätet – mittlerweile eine herausragende Bedeutung gewonnen. Im Binnenbereich der Justiz trägt der Einsatz moderner IuK-Technologien zu einer Vereinfachung und Beschleunigung (im Sinne einer Prozessoptimierung) von Arbeitsvorgängen bei, im Außenbereich kann die Kommunikation mit den Verfahrensbeteiligten (Justizkommunikation bzw. elektronischer Rechtsverkehr) gestärkt werden. Die radikal geänderten Möglich- keiten der Informationsbeschaffung (z.B. Einsatz elektronischer Literatur- und Recht- sprechungsdatenbanken), Informationsaufbereitung (z.B. elektronische Aktenführung) und Informationsvermittlung (z.B. Registerportale) beschäftigt die Justiz in ihren unterschiedlichen Aufgabenfeldern intensiv.
