Abstract

Zusammenfassung Die dynamische Entwicklung innovativer Informations- und Kommunikationstechnologien führt zu einer Fragmentierung der gesamten Versorgungskette im Gesundheitssektor. Neue einrichtungsübergreifende und ortsunabhängige E-Health Anwendungen ermöglichen eine schnellere und effizientere Kommunikation innerhalb des Leistungsspektrums im Gesundheitswesen. Insbesondere die leistungserbringenden Institutionen, beispielsweise Ärzte, Krankenhäuser und Apotheken, können durch den Einsatz dieser neuen Technologien in verschiedenen Bereichen erheblich profitieren.
