Abstract

Zusammenfassung In diesem letzten Brief nimmt Bernhard die Ausführungen seines Mentors „persönlich“. Er fragt sich, wie er selbst mit Abschied umgeht und ob er tatsächlich bereits begonnen hat, sein Leben aus einer Stiftungsatmosphäre heraus zu gestalten. Dabei berührt Bernhard nochmals die tiefen Fragen des menschlichen Seins, auf die es keine Antwort gibt, wohl aber Formen, um mit dieser Antwortlosigkeit umzugehen und aus ihr heraus zu leben – auch und gerade als Führungskraft, wie er an Beispielen zeigt. „Spirituelle Führung“ ist ein meist schweigsames Tun, das sich selbst Auskunft zu geben vermag, aber zurückhaltend in der Selbstdarstellung und Selbstrechtfertigung seines Handelns und seiner Erfolge bleibt. Bernhard zeigt, dass es darauf ankommt, im ständigen Bewusstsein der unlösbaren Fragen des Seins zu handeln – zurückhaltend und entschlossen zugleich.
