Abstract

Zusammenfassung Wessells verdeutlicht sehr eindrucksvoll die enge Verbindung zwischen dem Problemlösen und der menschlichen Intelligenz, indem er davon ausgeht, dass sich Intelligenz in der Ausprägung der Problemlösefähigkeit zeigt. Auf die Verknüpfung der beiden Aspekte wird nach der folgenden Darstellung des Problemlösens eingegangen, da auf diese Weise die erlangten Erkenntnisse zur (mathematischen) Begabung in Bezug zur nun aufzuarbeitenden Thematik des Problemlösens gesetzt werden können. Zunächst wird jedoch eine Begriffsklärung vorgenommen. Außerdem werden sowohl der Problemlöseprozess als auch die verschiedenen Problemlösestrategien aufgezeigt. Abgerundet wird dieses Kapitel durch die Darstellung der Konsequenzen für das eigene Forschungsvorhaben.
