Abstract

Zusammenfassung Der Beweis eines Satzes, also die Ableitung der Behauptung aus der Voraussetzung ist oft so komplex, dass – jedenfalls für den menschlichen Geist – die Schlussfolgerung einen echten Erkenntnisfortschritt darstellt. Ein „guter“ Satz reduziert ein schwieriges Problem auf ein einfach zu lösendes. Und das, obwohl - formal betrachtet – jeder mathematische Satz „trivial“ ist: In der Behauptung steckt nicht mehr drin als in der Voraussetzung.
