Abstract

Auszug In die Hochschullandschaft ist Bewegung gekommen. Wer sich heute für ein Studium der Mathematik entscheidet, dem eröffnen sich zahlreiche neue Möglichkeiten. Während früher nur die Frage „Diplom oder Lehramt“ im Raum stand und ein Zeitraum von fünf bis sechs Jahren für das Studium eingeplant werden musste, ist das Hochschulsystem heute deutlich flexibler geworden. Ein Bachelor-Abschluss kann innerhalb von drei Jahren erreicht werden — und ist vom Zeitrahmen damit vergleichbar mit einer Ausbildung. Das setzt natürlich voraus, dass alle Leistungsnachweise fristgerecht erbrachtwerden, dass Praktika zu keinen Verzögerungen führen usw. Wer der Uni danach den Rücken kehren möchte, kann erst mal für ein paar Jahre in der freienWirtschaft sein Geld verdienen, bevor er sich mit dem Master weiterqualifiziert.
