Abstract

Auszug Die gestellte Frage unterscheidet sich thematisch stark von den bisherigen. Es wird daher nochmals an die in der Einführung dargelegten Ursachen für die Ungewissheit erinnert, wie sie für Spiele typisch ist. Schach ist ein rein kombinatorisches Spiel, das heißt, die Schwierigkeit, die weitere Entwicklung einer Partie abzuschätzen, resultiert einzig aus der astronomischen Vielfalt möglicher Zugfolgen — Zufall oder verdeckte Spielelemente sind nicht vorhanden.
