Abstract

Zusammenfassung Es gibt unzählige Bücher über Wissenschaft im Speziellen wie im Allgemeinen. Auch die Literatur zur Statistik und Wissenschaftstheorie füllt (kleinere) Bibliotheken. Einige Statistikbücher streifen bei bestimmten Themen nahezu zwangsläufig die Wissenschaftstheorie. Wenn es zum Beispiel um das Testen von Hypothesen geht, fällt mit großer Wahrscheinlichkeit der Name Poppers. Andererseits greifen auch manche wissenschaftstheoretische Bücher neben der (unvermeidlichen?) Logik zuweilen auf die Wahrscheinlichkeitstheorie und darüber hinaus gehend auf die Statistik zurück.
