Abstract

Zusammenfassung Die Branch und Bound Methode ist eine geschickt organisierte, systematische Suche nach der optimalen Lösung in der Menge aller zulässigen Lösungen eines gegebenen Optimierungsproblemes. Bevor wir auf ihre Anwendungen in der ganzzahligen Optimierung eingehen, wollen wir sie ganz allgemein beschreiben. Nehmen wir dazu an, es liege ein Maximumproblem vor: (P1) Maximiere f(x) unter der Restriktion x∈M*.
