Abstract

Zusammenfassung Es sei L x eine Anzahl von Personen des Alters x. Wir beobachten diese Personengesamtheit während eines Jahres und bezeichnen mit T x die Anzahl der Todesfälle, die im Laufe dieses Jahres eintreten. Nach einem Jahr haben die Personen der Gesamtheit das Alter x+1 erreicht und ihre Anzahl ist Lx+1 = L x − T x . Die relative Häufigkeit der Todesfälle ist $$ \frac{{{T_x}}}{{{L_x}}} $$ . Der Eintritt des Todes kann als zufälliges Ereignis aufgefaßt werden. Wir bezeichnen die Wahrscheinlichkeit für den Eintritt dieses Ereignisses mit q x . Dann ist 4.1 $$ E({T_x}) = {L_x}{q_x} $$ wenn wir T x als zufällige Variable auffassen und L x vorgeben. Die Sterbewahrscheinlichkeiten sind für versicherungsmathematische Berechnungen von großer Bedeutung, und wir befassen uns im folgenden mit den Methoden zu ihrer Ermittlung.
