Abstract

Zusammenfassung Die im Abschnitt 1.4 bewiesenen Aussagen gelten für beliebige Wahrscheinlichkeitsverteilungen. Wir werden in diesem Kapitel einige, für die Anwendungen besonders wichtige, spezielle Wahrscheinlichkeitsverteilungen kennenlernen. Dazu betrachten wir Experimente, deren Ausgang durch eine reelle Zahl x beschrieben werden kann. Der Wert, den die Variable x bei einer konkreten Durchführung des Experiments annimmt, hängt vom Zufall ab. Wir nennen x daher eine (reelle) Zufallsvariable.
