Abstract

Zusammenfassung Wenn ich mir erlaube, in einer allgemeinen Sitzung dieses Kongresses ein Einzelproblem der Dimensionstheorie zu behandeln, so geschieht dies, weil das betreffende Problem nicht nur innerhalb der Dimensionstheorie von prinzipieller Wichtigkeit ist, sondern auch in engen inhaltlichen und methodischen Beziehungen zu allgemein bekannten, wichtigen Fragen der Maßtheorie steht. Es soll im Folgenden eine axiomatische Einführung des Dimensionsbegriffes angegeben worden.
