Abstract

Zusammenfassung Die Wirbelfelder, die man genauer als reine Wirbelfelder oder quellenfreie Felder bezeichnet, bilden nach den Laplaceschen Feldern und den wirbelfreien Quellenfeldern die dritte große Gruppe der in den Anwendungen wichtigen Vektorfelder. Ihre Behandlung und Darstellung ist in mancher Hinsicht schwieriger als die der beiden anderen Feldtypen. Bei einem überwiegenden Teil der durch Vektorf elder zu beschreibenden physikalischen Zusammenhänge gibt aber die Darstellung durch reine Wirbelfelder die beste Näherung.
