Abstract

Zusammenfassung Der Beweis des Theorems von Gödel in Abschn. 2 erfolgte unter der Voraussetzung, daß die beiden in D 2 und D 3 eingeführten Prädikate „R(x,y)“ und „Q(x,z)“ im System ZL formal ausdrückbar sind (in dem durch D l , Abschn. 2, S. 21, präzisierten Sinn). Auf dem Wege über die .Arithmetisierung der Metatheorie konnte in Abschn. 4 gezeigt werden, daß jene beiden Prädikate prim. rek. sind. Um den Beweis zum vollständigen Abschluß zu bringen, muß noch bewiesen werden, daß alle prim. rek. Prädikate innerhalb von ZL formal ausdrückbar sind. Dieser Beweis ist zumindest dann erforderlich, wenn man das System ZL nicht durch zusätzliche Axiome in geeigneter Weise verstärkt. Wir hatten am Schluß von Abschn. 4 darauf hingewiesen, daß eine derartige Verstärkung möglich wäre : Man hätte einfach die Rekursionsgleichungen für die benötigten prim. rek. Funktionen zum Formalismus ZL als Axiome hinzuzufügen. Für den Fall einer derartigen Verstärkung von ZL würde sich der noch ausstehende Beweis erübrigen. Es soll nun gezeigt werden, daß diese Verstärkung nicht notwendig ist: das System ZL in seiner ursprünglichen Gestalt ist bereits vollkommen ausreichend, um alle prim. rek. Prädikate formal auszudrücken.
