Abstract

Zusammenfassung In dem ersten Vortrag habe ich schon gelegentlich erwähnt, daß die von mir hier entwickelte Auffassung, die den Wahrscheinlichkeitsbegriff als Grenzwert einer beobachtbaren relativen Häufigkeit definiert, auch ihre Gegner hat. Im dritten Vortrag werde ich auf die wichtigsten Einwände, die gegen diese Auffassung erhoben wurden, zu sprechen kommen. Zunächst aber will ich jeßt kurz darlegen, in welcher Weise die von mir gegebenen Grundlagen in der Welt der Tatsachen Anwendung finden, wie sie sich in praktischen Fragen auswirken, kurz, was überhaupt mit ihnen anzufangen ist. Denn in der Anwendbarkeit einer Theorie auf die Wirklichkeit sehe ich den wesentlichsten, wenn nicht einzigen Prüfstein ihres Wertes.
