Abstract

Zusammenfassung Es ist die Aufgabe wissenschaftlicher Forschung, die Gesetzmäßigkeiten der materiellen Welt zu erkennen und darzustellen. Das methodische Vorgehen der Wissenschaft zur Erreichung dieses Zieles besteht in der Abgrenzung bestimmter Bereiche der materiellen Welt, die der Erforschung unterzogen werden. Ein solcher abgegrenzter Bereich, der das Original darstellt, wird als System bezeichnet. Ein System ist im allgemeinsten Falle durch die Menge seiner Elemente und die Menge der Relationen zwischen den Elementen gekennzeichnet. Auf Grund dieser Charakteristika sind jeweils zwei Aspekte zur vollständigen Beschreibung eines Systems erforderlich: die substantiell-qualitative und die strukturelle Beschaffenheit des Systems. Darüber hinaus bleibt die Möglichkeit offen, ein System auf unterschiedlichen Abstraktionsstufen zu beschreiben. Diese Beschreibungen sind durch die Verwendung von Mengen unterschiedlicher Stufen, von einem bestimmten Individuenbereich ausgehend, gekennzeichnet.
