Abstract

Zusammenfassung Wenn eine Funktion f(x) in einem Intervall (α, ß) eindeutig definiert und stetig ist mit Ausnahme einer einzigen Stelle x = a, die innerhalb (α, ß) liegt oder mit der einen Grenze zusammenfällt, so stellt sich die Aufgabe ein. das Verhalten der Funktion in der Umgebung dieser kritischen Stelle zu untersuchen. Diese Aufgabe erhält einen bestimmten Ausdruck in der Forderung, den Grenzwert von f(x) zu bestimmen für einen näher bezeichneten Grenzübergang limx = a.
