Abstract

Zusammenfassung Die Photometrie ist die Lehre von der Intensität der Strahlung. Wie der Name lehrt, stammt die Bezeichnung vom sichtbaren Gebiete der Strahlung, vom Lichte, her; geschichtlich war dieses Gebiet auch das zuerst untersuchte; heute wird die Bezeichnung „Photometrie“ auch auf die photographisch und lichtelektrisch wirksame Strahlung der kleineren Wellenlängen sowie auch, bis zu einer gewissen Grenze, auf das angrenzende Gebiet der ultraroten Strahlung angewandt.
