Abstract

Zusammenfassung Es bedeute G ein algebraisches Gebilde von einer Dimension, das ist die Gesamtheit aller Wertepaare zweier durch eine algebraische Gleichung miteinander verknüpften komplexen Veränderlichen. Wir wollen uns G zunächst durch eine mehrblättrige Riemannsche Fläche T dargestellt denken, werden es im weiteren Verlaufe aber auch als allgemeine Riemannsche Mannigfaltigkeit oder auch als Kurve in einem Gebiete von zwei oder mehr Dimensionen unserer Anschauung zugrunde legen (vgl. II B 2).
