Abstract

Zusammenfassung Der Erfindung der Infinitesimalrechnung durch Newton und Leibniz folgte die Anwendung und Ausbildung derselben an zahlreichen Aufgaben verschiedenster Natur aus der Geometrie und der mathematischen Physik, sowie die formale Entwicklung der Integralrechnung incl. der bestimmten Integrale. Durch das Problem der zweidimensionalen Strömung einer inkompressiblen Flüssigkeit wurde man auf ein Paar von reellen Funktionen u, v der rechtwinkligen Koordinaten x, y geführt, die den beiden Relationen genügen
