Abstract

Zusammenfassung Im fünften Kapitel ist eine Methode auseinandergesetzt, um eine Funktion, deren Werte für äquidistante Werte der unabhängigen Variablen gegeben sind, durch eine ganze rationale Funktion in der Weise zu ersetzen, daß diese die vorgegebenen Funktionswerte wirklich annimmt Weisen die vorgelegten Funktions werte nun sehr starke Schwankungen auf, deren Ursache in Beobachtungsfehlern oder sonstigen Ungenauigkeiten zu suchen ist, so empfiehlt es sich, besonders auch zur Interpolation und Berechnung des Differentialquotienten der beobachteten Funktion, ganze rationale Funktionen in anderer Weise zur Darstellung der gegebenen Funktion zu benutzen.
