Abstract

Zusammenfassung Die Ermittlung der Effektivverzinsung stellt eine der zentralen Aufgaben der Finanzmathematik dar, ist aber aus mathematischer Sicht wohl auch eine der schwierigsten, die insbesondere dem Anfänger auf diesem Gebiet nicht leicht fällt. Auf Grund der Vielzahl möglicher Situationen, die in der Praxis auftreten, wäre es ein aussichtsloses Unterfangen, alle entsprechenden Modelle auch nur einigermaßen vollständig beschreiben zu wollen. Deshalb wird hier der Weg beschritten, zusätzlich zu den in den einzelnen Kapiteln bereits enthaltenen Fragestellungen zur Renditeermittlung weitere praktische Probleme zu untersuchen. Dabei soll vor allem die Fähigkeit des Lesers geschult werden, selbstständig mathematische Modelle aufzustellen.
